Following the success of our inaugural event exploring 'Rave as Ritual' in the world techno capital Berlin, Music Magic Medicine (MMM) is thrilled to announce its second chapter: 'The Rites of Spring.' Brace yourselves for a transformative weekend that takes us out of the urban rave scene and into the picturesque embrace of the French countryside, from May 10th to 12th, 2024.

Inspired by Stravinsky's groundbreaking ballet, which scandalized audiences in the 20th century with its portrayal of pre-Christian rites, we embark on a mission. Our goal? To host a festival-as-ritual and manifest a genuine 'Rite of Spring’ for the 21st century. To give space for the old gods and forest spirits to reclaim their place in the heart of contemporary materialist culture, and to connect our most radical new technologies and innovations with the earth from which they emerge.  Harnessing the power of collective group energy and intention, we seek to re-evaluate the role of humans in a living cosmos and celebrate the yearly return of Persephone from the Underworld.

Expect an eclectic lineup of bands, DJs, and performances infused with magical springtime energy and relayed through state of the art audio visual technology. We will dance under the stars with the new grass under our feet, locking into the rejuvenating power of spring, to send forth fresh shoots and feel the flowers bloom. There will be bountiful culinary delights, a bar with homemade botanical libations, and immersive workshops led by a handpicked selection of musicians, magicians, technologists and artists. Together we will explore what it means to live and dance in closer communion with all aspects of the living cosmos, from the birds in the sky to the birth of AI.
